“Had the Elena Ruth sandwich and it was so good. Sweet and savory and delicious. Sliced turkey breast, cream cheese and strawberry preserves served as a hot sandwich with potato sticks sprinkled on top. Deviled crab was also good but couldn’t even finish it after devouring my sandwich. My husband had the Cuban and loved it, he also ate both potato balls we ordered. Will be back”

“Want good food that will wake up your taste buds? This is the place and not far off Hwy 17 on Main St downtown Bartow. We parked on the street. Hubby had Senor Sausage Sandwich aka chorizo! Bread was so fresh and chorizo was so flavorful. I had a Cuban. Version of tuna salad with cilantro, onion, tomato on Cuban bread - delicious!!! Highly recommend- everyone was so kind and helpful. Please give it a try.”

“Wonderful authentic Cuban restaurant recommended by a local friend. Had the garlic blackened fish with rice and black beans - done perfectly and so moist, flavorful. Not spicy but great garlic flavor and a perfect white fish for this dish. In the catfish family but more the consistency of sea bass just not as thick a cut. Loved it and will gladly recommend and come back to sample some of their beef and chicken dishes from ‘Mama’s’ and Papa’s Kitchen. Cute place - love the nostalgic atmosphere.”
